Saddle up for our horse-riding academy!

Want to learn more about riding and owning a horse? Canter along to our new horse riding academy to find out more.

Come along to Wellington College this summer, and learn to ride and care for horses. Suitable for those of all abilities, learn to control the horses to walk, trot, canter and, for those feeling brave – jump.

It's not just the glamorous side of horse-riding on our academy, but also learning the all-important knowledge to care for the horses too.

Learn from the best, at the best location! The academy takes place at our partner stables, The Hall Place Equestrian Centre, close to our Young Learner centre, Wellington College, and is taught by a Association of British Riding Schools qualified instructor.

The academy finishes with a 'tack and turnout' show, where students will be presented with a rosette and certificate showing the level of horse riding they've achieved to take home as a reminder of our academy.

Download our horse-riding academy factsheet to find out more. Six young learner academies are available in summer 2018 as part of our Summer Explorer courses at Bloxham School, The Leys School and Wellington College.
