Book a smooth arrival
For a smooth arrival, we can arrange for a taxi transfer to pick you up from your terminal or airport, and take you direct to the Bell Cambridge school. Booking this service is simple and easy. Select the ‘airport transfer’ option on your booking or enrolment form when applying.
If you have already received your booking confirmation, we can still arrange this for you. Simply contact our multi-lingual customer service team.


TRAVELLING TO CAMBRIDGE
Arrange your own travel
Travel by coach
Travelling by coach will often save you money – just be aware that sometimes the journey time may be longer. The largest British coach operator is National Express, which runs regular coaches from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports to Cambridge city centre.
Travel by train
Travelling by train can be scenic and relaxing way to travel, adding a real sense of adventure to your trip. The rail network in the UK is a reliable and efficient system that can get you to Cambridge in about an hour. If you are arriving by Eurostar, you can walk from St Pancras International to London Kings Cross (a 5 minute walk) and travel by train to Cambridge.

Local travel in Cambridge
Travel by busThe bus stop for Bell is Addenbrooke’s Hospital and there is a regular service to the city centre. A weekly Megarider ticket costs approximately £15 from the bus driver and you can use this as many times as you wish for 7 days on any Citi bus. Bus timetables are available at the school, and our student services team are here to help if you have any other questions.
Travel by bicycle
Cambridge is often known as the ‘city of cycling’ as many of its residents choose to cycle around the city. If you are studying for a short amount of time, you can easily hire a bike from Rutland Cycling.
However, if your are staying for a long course, it may be cheaper to purchase a bike, either second hand or brand new from shops like: Rutland Cycling, Cycle King, and Giant Cambridge. Just remember to always remember to wear a helmet and a good quality lock, and never buy second-hand until you have seen the bike.
