Meet the team

Meet our Bell London team, who are dedicated to making the school a supportive, friendly and inspiring learning environment. 

Silvana Richardson, Head of Teacher Development

Silvana Richardson, Head of Teacher Development

Silvana has worked in English language teaching for over 25 years. She holds an MA in Teacher Education, is PGCE and Delta qualified and has trained teachers all over the world. Silvana is the Director of Studies for Bell Teacher Campus and the Course Director for the Bell Online Delta. Silvana writes teacher training materials for the Bell Delta and Cambridge English Teacher and recently received a standing ovation for her plenary at IATEFL UK, an industry-leading teaching conference.


Sarka Kreuzove, Learning and Teaching Manager

Sarka Kreuzova, Learning and Teaching Manager 

Sarka joined Bell in October 2015 and is responsible for managing the teaching team and ensuring that students maximise their learning while at Bell London. She has taught in the EFL industry for many years and holds a CELTA, Delta and teacher training qualifications. Sarka is passionate about reading and loves to recommend books to our students.

Gema Adams, Student Services Manager

Gema Adams, Student Services Manager

Gema joined Bell in 2018 as Student Services Manager and is responsible for the Student Services and Accommodation departments in London. Gema has been working in the EFL industry for a number of years in both the UK and Spain as a teacher and director of studies. She recently completed her Masters in Applied Linguistics and TESOL.


Annette Fox, Teacher

Annette Fox, Teacher

Annette has been teaching English since 2008 and uses her past work experience in catering and nursing to enhance her lessons.  She has also worked in the oil exploration, legal and construction industries, and love spending time with her hens and growing vegetables in her garden.

Vivien Gilles, Teacher

Vivien Gilles, Teacher

Vivien taught Business English in Barcelona for 4 years before returning to the UK to complete an MA in Intercultural Communication for Business and Professions, and a Delta. She joined Bell’s London team in 2013 and recently completed her CELTA tutor training. 

"Don’t be afraid to make mistakes – that’s the whole point of joining a class, you’re here to learn. We will support you and help you to correct any mistakes.”


Richard Hillman, Teacher

Richard Hillman, Teacher

Richard has an MA from the University of Oxford and has been teaching at Bell since 1999. As well as the UK, he has taught in 13 other countries. He has a particular interest in English for Academic Purposes. He is also a composer and musician.


Joseph Nielson-Pins, Teacher

Joseph Nielson-Pins, Teacher

Joe was born in north London and has been teaching EFL for over 20 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies and Film studies, and the DELTA diploma for teaching English as a foreign language. He has taught English in Spain, Argentina and Australia and for the last ten years has been teaching in London. He's interested in all aspects of the arts: the theatre, film and visiting museums and galleries. He's passionate about teaching and learns something new every week from his students!

"What I really love about my job is the cultural diversity. I’m lucky enough to have visited 63 countries ( and counting) but last week I was teaching a student from Paraguay. I’ve never been there before but now its definitely on my list of places to see! I love being able to help my students to increase their English knowledge  and feel confident that when they leave Bell they have gained the study skills necessary to improve further back in their own countries!"

 


Kate Price, Teacher

Kate Price, Teacher

Kate has worked with Bell since 1998 and has many years' experience in the EFL industry. In addition to her role as a teacher, Kate is also a classically trained actress and even appeared in the British film Love Actually. She also runs a theatre production company and writes many of the plays herself. Kate encourages our students to visit the theatre to practise their listening skills and see the English language brought to life. 

"All my life I have been a believer of bringing London into the school or going out into the city and using it as a learning resource. I encourage students to go out at the weekends and explore London and use the river to navigate the city."
