Welcome from the Principal

Frank Pinner, Principal, Bell Cambridge
Bell Cambridge Principal, Frank Pinner.

Welcome to Bell Cambridge! I am very proud to be responsible for the thousands of students from all over the world who choose to study at this fabulous campus each year.

My role here can be explained quite easily – to make sure each and every student who comes to Bell Cambridge achieves their goals and becomes the best they can be. That might mean making sure a student gets the highest possible grade on one of our University Pathways courses and gains a place at a top UK university; or it may mean ensuring a student makes vital improvements in their English on a two week General English course. It may mean working closely with a school group to provide them with an outstanding experience on a bespoke course; or it may mean empowering a group of non-native English teachers with new teaching skills which they can take back and use in their own classrooms overseas.

I really like that I get to meet every student who comes here on their first day, and to see our students on a daily basis around the campus as they grow in ability and confidence. I enjoy being able to share their success and progress with agents and parents, and I enjoy the vibrant, learning-focused atmosphere created by the dedicated team of experienced teachers and student services staff we have here. My door is always open, and many students come to see me not only for help, but often just to tell me what a wonderful experience they have had.

The great thing about Bell is that it is all about learning: it’s an organisation that puts education at the very heart of the student experience.  Our six educational principles, which we call The Bell Way, guide everything we do both inside and outside of the classroom and make Bell a truly unique place to learn. I hope that you will follow the many successful students who have come to Bell Cambridge since 1955, and I look forward to welcoming you personally when you do!
