Every year, thousands of students from across the world come to learn English, study for exams and prepare for university with Bell, and we are looking for people who can offer them a home away from home.
If you can offer a warm welcome and a room for one week or longer in Cambridge or London, you could become a perfect Bell homestay host.
Hosting is a rewarding experience for both hosts and students.
I have hosted Bell students for 37 years and keep in contact with many past students; I have also had the pleasure of hosting some of their children! Mealtimes are important – we share the opportunity to talk about our day and other topics, it’s a valuable time to get to know each other.

This varies from £145 to £268 per week depending on the type of room you have available and the meal option you provide.
My host family is very kind to me and they are all really friendly. I get to practise my English a lot with them as every night at dinner we have a different topic to discuss. If I have any problems they are always happy to talk and offer advice.
