Homerton College, University of Cambridge
This summer, Bell Teacher Campus will take place at Homerton College, part of the University of Cambridge, from 30 June to 10 August.
Homerton College is steeped in history, dating back to the late 17th century. This University of Cambridge college is a mixture of old and new buildings set in private spacious gardens, within walking distance to the famous Botanic Gardens and Fitzwilliam Museum. The Cambridge city centre is a 25 minute walk or a 10 minute bus ride — or you could rent a bicycle to travel like a local.
For the first time, Bell Teacher Campus moves to Bell Cambridge for its final block, from 11-24 August.
Our Cambridge school has been home to Bell for nearly 60 years; it offers a picturesque study environment and a supportive student community. Located within easy reach of the historic city centre, it features impressive study, social and leisure facilities including a large contemporary learning centre, student games room and indoor and outdoor dining areas.
You can explore the city with other teachers, easily from both campus', visit the many museums and go to one of the many outdoor cultural events over the summer such as ‘Shakespeare in the park’. There are a host of activities held on campus too. Both campus' are located close to Cambridge train station for easy access to nearby cities including London.
