From emergency remote teaching to effective online learning

Teacher learning online

Delivering effective online learning.

Well-planned online learning experiences are meaningfully different from courses offered online in response to the global pandemic.

Moving teaching online can enable the flexibility of teaching and learning anywhere and anytime. But the speed with which this move had to happen due to COVID-19, left many with no time to design courses that take full advantage of the possibilities that online, interactive learning can provide.

This course is part of the “Teaching English Online and Using Educational Technology” specialism course series, expertly designed to support teachers who have recently started online teaching and want to take the next steps to become more confident and effective online practitioners.
