Using a learner’s own language (L1).
Research shows that using learners’ first language in the classroom in a principled way can greatly benefit their learning of English.
This module focuses on ways we can use learners’ first language or home language (L1) in the classroom to help them improve their English skills. This course is suitable for teachers who speak the language of their students or for teachers who work with multilingual classes.
Each course we run is tailored by our expert tutors to the professional needs and priorities of the participants so content may be adapted to best suit the needs of your group.
