Catrin Diamantino, Chief Executive at Bell has been elected to join the English UK Board of Trustees after elections took place at English UK’s recent Annual Conference and AGM on 23 May in London.
Joining Bell in 2018, Catrin brought with her extensive experience of the English Language Training (ELT) sector, having worked at EC from its early stages as a small language school in Malta and growing into a network of over 20 language schools across three continents.
This experience and knowledge of the ELT sector and global markets will be invaluable to her new role in supporting English UK, particularly at such an important time for the industry “when we need to join together and speak with one voice to be heard and taken seriously.”
Bell is a language and education provider for students of all ages, including young learners (7-17 year olds), adults, students preparing for university, as well as teacher training and development. It also has a successful track record in organisation-wide consultancy for educational institutions across the globe.
English UK is a membership organisation for accredited UK ELT centres with over 400 members. It supports and promotes excellence in English language teaching in the UK. Bell has been a member of English UK for several years.
Catrin joins alongside four returning trustees from other English UK member organisations, including International House London, Wimbledon School of English, English in Chester and English Country Schools.
