In 1955 Frank Bell opened the very first Bell school in Cambridge and, in so doing, laid the foundations for one of the most successful and respected providers of English language training around the world.
Since then, the scope and scale of our operations has grown beyond all recognition and we now operate over 36 teaching centres and projects around the world, helping students from over 120 countries expand their horizons each year. However, Frank Bell’s original vision and his belief in the transformative power of education and its use as a force for good in the world remains at the very heart of everything we do.
