FCE Course Areas:
The course covers four areas, reflecting the structure of the FCE examination: Reading, Writing, Listening & Use
of English.
Each of these areas is divided into modules, so the Listening part of
the examination, for instance, has four parts: Multiple choice, Note-taking,
Matching Speaker to Text and True/False. Each of the 17 FCE exam preparation
modules covers preparation, advice, guided practice and examination samples
in one particular question in the examination.

The features of the FCE course include:
- Full Dictionary support: As with the graded and levelled "Language
Exerciser" material on the bellenglish.com website, clicking on a word
in a text will display the definition of that word from the Cambridge
Online Dictionary of English
- Notebook: While you are working, you can use the popup notebook
facility to make notes. You can save these into your own word-processor
and work with them later.
- Print: Practice and exam exercises can be printed out, so
that you can also work off-line if you prefer.
- Hints and Tips: There are examination Hints and Tips at many
points in the material.
- Full Records: At any point you can view your records, to see
summaries of your scores and percentages with a record also of the
number of times you have attempted a particular exercise and the date
when you last tried an exercise.
- Exam Practice papers: In addition to the 18 modules mentioned
above, there are also full practice papers modules.
